Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force works with the Irrigation Association to ensure that, while our industry may already be diverse in some areas of our workforce, we must make leadership and management opportunities available to all, regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability, nationality, or any other aspect which makes them unique. The task force

  • stands with IA employees and member companies in recognizing that the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences.
  • recognizes that before any and all inequality and prejudice can be completely removed from our industry, we must listen and learn together.
  • regularly reviews the IA’s strategic plan and seeks opportunities to promote diversity throughout our industry’s workforce and programs.
  • ensures that racism or other prejudices of any kind will not be tolerated at any event, program, employment or initiative of the Irrigation Association.
