Advocacy – Landscape Committee

The Advocacy – Landscape Committee monitors current and proposed laws and regulations that could affect the landscape irrigation industry at the state, regional and federal levels. Additionally, the committee works to ensure that landscape irrigation standards and codes reflect irrigation best practices. The committee

• examines policy issues and recommends action or non-action.
• explores opportunities for proactive partnerships and coalitions.
• provides regular updates to IA members on policy issues and association activities.
• reviews and revises current standards as needed.
• directs development of new irrigation standards.
