Commitment to Equality

The Irrigation Association stands with our employees and member companies in recognizing that the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences. The IA also recognizes that before any and all inequality and prejudice can be completely removed from our industry, we must listen and learn together. Only then will we truly see the potential of innovation and advancement in efficient irrigation.

While our industry may already be diverse in some areas of our workforce, we must do better to make leadership and management opportunities available to all, regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability, nationality, or any other aspect which makes them unique. Racism or other prejudices of any kind will not be tolerated at any event, program, employment or initiative of the Irrigation Association.

As we further commit to equality, the IA will regularly review our strategic plan and seek opportunities to promote diversity throughout our industry’s workforce and programs.
