Certification Benefits 

Technical Service Providers

Certified irrigation designers with an agricultural specialty in sprinkler, surface or drip-microirrigation and certified agricultural irrigation specialists qualify to become Technical Service Providers for U.S. Department of Agriculture projects through the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Please note certified professionals qualify for certain projects and may vary by state.
 
TSPs help land owners, ranchers and agriculture producers protect soil, water and related resources. TSPs:

  • Plan, design, install and audit agriculture projects to implement approved conservation practices.
  • Qualify to work on projects funded by the farm bill through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program and Conservation Reserve Program.
  • Are listed in the USDA-NRCS online directory of approved providers.
  • Have access to USDA’s online Agriculture Learning Service.
